the way to do it. tamales and scripture study
so many doors knocked…..so many doors unopened….. i used to love daylight savings and it gettin all dark and cozy at 5 pm. NOT AS A MISSIONARY YA DONT. seriously, put the cold and dark together, and people literally go into hibernation here. haha but dont fret, theres always miracles to be found.
the snow has arrived and the people have disappeared, so this week has been interesting. We’ve been trying to really build up our new english wards that we got, which has been hard since we’re both brand new to them. A super cool miracle in our english ward though- Theres this girl who just got home from her mission last week! She’s a convert and the rest of her family arent members of the church. Yesterday she gave her homecoming talk and her whole family attended. We got word from the ward mission leader that her mom was really touched during the meeting. So tonight we’re going over there to meet the family and see!! Through this ive seen that the Lord truly does have a perfect plan for each of His children. The timeline and the way everything works out is according to Him..and how He knows we can learn and grow best..
my precious lil DeAngelo
With this week bein thanksgiving i’ve really been able to reflect on how blessed i am to have had all of these amazing missionary experiences. As missionaries you get asked pretty often why you come out and serve, usually the first response that comes into my head is “because i have been given much i too must give.” Im so grateful for my family..for the blessing it is to have the gospel in our lives, to help us through our trials and bring us true and eternal happiness. And the greatest thing! it’s available to everyone.
28 Yea, thus we see that the gate of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.
Happy thanksgiving to all! Count your blessins. love you all
